Dr. Charles E Maricle Ph.D. is an
electronics product design and manufacturing specialist with over
two decades of experience in developing new and better solutions
for old problems. His proven expertise in the healthcare technology
design and manufacturing fields, combined with his extensive experience
in corporate management, has served him well in his role as President of
Sunetics.
Dr. Maricle was responsible for the master plan, design and implementation of technology for over 300 hospitals during the ten years that he was employed by GM Hughes Electronics. At Cygnet Technologies, a technology integrator and developer in the global consumer electronics product markets, Dr. Maricle managed Cygnet's business and product development, customer support and marketing efforts. Previous to that, Dr. Maricle was a Systems Engineer with MDHIS, a Health Information Systems company.
Dr. Maricle has been a featured speaker at technology conferences around the globe, including the Radiological Society of North America, the Healthcare Informatics Systems Society, and the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) among others. He is also very active in the venture capital community, having raised over $150,000,000 USD in funding for domestic and international technology start-up firms. Dr. Maricle has served on the advisory board for several venture capital firms and on the board of directors for Paltek Corp (Japan), Giant Loop (Boston) and Sanacea International (Austin). His venture capital work has placed him in executive positions with numerous technology start-up firms, most recently as the VP of Marketing and Product Development for Paltek Corp in Yokohama, Japan.
Dr. Maricle has acted as a consultant
for companies in Australia, Canada, China (PRC), England, France,
Germany, Japan, Italy, South Korea, Sweden and Taiwan. These international
connections have helped accelerate the achievement of Sunetics' business
goals as well enabling the company to utilize international outsourcing.
Introduced to the laser manufacturing market via his network of medical professionals, Dr. Maricle has developed significant patented intellectual property over a short period of time. Dr. Maricle has also assembled an advisory team of the top medical professionals in the industry, and relies strongly on these professionals guidance in the development of key cosmetic and medical laser technology products.
Dr. Maricle also works with the leading therapeutic laser professional associations, including American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Cosmoprov, MediSpa, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. He has become one of the most sought after experts in the area of cosmetic and medical laser design and is a consultant to several physicians and organizations.
